Garlic Shrimp with Tomatoes and Basil

1 lb x 16/20 Peeled and Deveined Shrimp

1/4 cup of rough chopped Garlic

1/4 Chopped Parsley

1/2 cup of Oil

1 x Stick of Butter

1/2 pint of Cherry Tomatoes (Halved)

One Dozen Basil leaves chopped

Juice of one Lemon


In a large hot saute pan add oil and half of the stick of butter

When slightly foamy add the garlic and saute (Do not brown)

Add shrimp and turn heat to high, saute shrimp for 1 minute

Add rest of the butter, tomatoes, and basil (Saute for 1 minute)

Add parsley and lemon juice

Cook to reduce water (1 minute)

Season with salt and pepper

  • Serve with crusty bread or your favorite pasta
